1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Step 1: Oven and Pan Preparation Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This prevents the cheese from sticking to the pan and makes cleanup much easier later on.
Step 2: Prepare the Dough Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Use your hands or a rolling pin to gently press it into a large rectangle of even thickness. Make sure there are no holes in the dough so the sauce doesn’t leak through.
Step 3: Add Sauce and Toppings Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a half-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with the pepperoni slices. Be careful not to overfill, as it will make rolling more difficult.
Step 4: Roll and Slice Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal it. Using a sharp knife or a piece of unflavored dental floss, cut the log into 12 even slices (about 1 inch thick each).
Step 5: Season and Bake Place the rolls cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
