Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs broccoli florets (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Ensure every piece is evenly coated so the seasoning sticks to the florets.
  3. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding the pan, as this will cause the broccoli to steam instead of roast. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly charred and the stems are tender.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot broccoli. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice for a bright finish. Toss gently and serve warm.
